# VAASTHU SHASTRA — 3D Representation (Hindu Animated Movie Intro Concept)

> **Note on generation:** This document and the companion web implementation (`vaasthu.html`, homepage Vastu banner) present an **ancient Vastu in 3D representation** with a **cinematic, Hindu animated movie–intro** feel (rotating Vastu Purusha Mandala, glowing Brahmasthan, directional dik-paalaka reveals, Panch-Bhoota elements). *Stitch MCP image generation was attempted but unavailable in this environment (schema validation errors on `list_projects`/`create_project`); the design intent was implemented using CSS 3D transforms, SVG/canvas animation, and existing Vastu/mandala art assets (`art/vedavani-slide-vaasthu.jpg`, `art/stitch-mandala-raw.jpg`) in a light theme.*

## 1) Cinematic Intro (Movie-Intro Sequence) — Concept

**Title card / reveal (animated):**
1. **Dark-to-gold dawn** over a subtle plot/mandala ground (light theme adaptation: warm ivory-to-gold light).
2. **Vastu Purusha awakens** — the cosmic grid forms in 3D, rising from flat plan to a tilted, rotating mandala (isometric/3D perspective).
3. **Brahmasthan ignites** — the central void glows (sacred open center).
4. **81 padas assemble** — the 9×9 (Paramasayika) grid locks into place with ripple/light.
5. **Eight directions reveal** — N/NE/E/SE/S/SW/W/NW appear with their **Dik-paalaka** guardians and qualities.
6. **Panch-Bhoota bloom** — Earth, Water, Fire, Air, Space zones color the mandala.
7. **Call to action** — “Enter Vaasthu” / “Explore the Mandala” button → redirects to the Vastu page.

**Motion language (web implementation):** `perspective` + `rotateX/rotateY/rotateZ`, slow continuous rotation, pulsing glow on Brahmasthan, staggered fade/scale of directional markers, reduced-motion fallback (static).

## 2) 3D Vastu Purusha Mandala (Core Geometry)

The **Vastu Purusha Mandala** is the sacred planning grid that maps cosmic order onto space.

| Layer | Description | 3D Treatment |
|---|---|---|
| **Brahmasthan** (center) | Sacred open core; energy nucleus (central padas) | Raised/glowing core, pulse animation, brightest light |
| **81-Pada grid (9×9)** | Paramasayika mandala — 81 modules/padas | 3D tilted grid plane, subtle cell highlights |
| **Deva/Asura padas** | Deity zones (inner) and outer bands (per tradition) | Concentric rings/zones with labels on hover/tap |
| **Marma points** | Sensitive intersections/voids to keep unobstructed | Marked nodes; warning accent |
| **Bhitti / boundary** | Outer enclosure | Framed edge, depth/shadow |

**Implementation cue:** an SVG/HTML grid rendered on a `transform-style: preserve-3d` stage, rotating slowly (movie-intro turntable), with `Brahmasthan` at center.

## 3) The 8 Directions (Dik-paalaka) + Center

| Direction | Sanskrit | Guardian (Dik-paalaka) | Element / Quality (classical) | Typical emphasis |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| North (N) | Uttara | **Kubera** | Wealth/prosperity, water association | Openness, prosperity flow |
| North-East (NE) | Ishanya | **Ishana (Shiva)** | Water/clarity, sacred | Pooja, clarity, light |
| East (E) | Purva | **Indra** | Sun/light, vitality | Entrance/light (contextual) |
| South-East (SE) | Agneya | **Agni** | **Fire** | Kitchen/fire zone (classical) |
| South (S) | Dakshina | **Yama** | Strength/stability | Weight/stability (contextual) |
| South-West (SW) | Nairitya | **Nirrti** | **Earth**/stability | Master stability (contextual) |
| West (W) | Paschima | **Varuna** | Water/variegation | Gains/water (contextual) |
| North-West (NW) | Vayavya | **Vayu** | **Air**/movement | Movement/guests (contextual) |
| Center | Brahmasthan | — | **Space (Akasha)** | Keep open/light, no heavy obstruction |

## 4) Panch-Bhoota (Five Elements)

| Element | Sanskrit | Zone tendency (classical map) | Color cue (UI) |
|---|---|---|---|
| Earth | Prithvi | SW / stability | Ochre/earth |
| Water | Jala | NE / flow | Aqua/blue |
| Fire | Agni | SE / transformation | Saffron/red |
| Air | Vayu | NW / movement | Light grey/white |
| Space | Akasha | Center (Brahmasthan) | Gold/light |

## 5) 3D Scene Composition (Web)

```
[Camera / perspective: 900–1200px]
  └─ Stage (preserve-3d, slow rotateY/rotateX oscillation)
       ├─ Ground plane (plot) — image bg: vedavani-slide-vaasthu / mandala
       ├─ Mandala disc (tilted) — 9×9 grid + concentric rings
       │    ├─ Brahmasthan core (glow pulse)
       │    ├─ 8 directional markers (N,NE,E,SE,S,SW,W,NW) + dik-paalaka labels
       │    └─ Panch-Bhoota zone tints
       ├─ Light beams / particles (subtle, CSS) — “movie intro” atmosphere
       └─ Title + CTA button (“Explore Vaasthu” → vaasthu.html)
```

**Accessibility:** `prefers-reduced-motion: reduce` → disable continuous rotation/pulses; keep readable static 3D/poster.

## 6) Assets & Implementation
- **Background image (banner):** `art/vedavani-slide-vaasthu.jpg` (ancient Vastu/architectural theme). Optional accent: `art/stitch-mandala-raw.jpg`.
- **Stitch:** Stitch MCP design/image generation unavailable in this environment (schema errors); implemented with CSS 3D + SVG + existing assets (light theme).
- **Pages:** homepage 3D Vastu banner (button → `vaasthu.html`), `vaasthu.html` (3D mandala intro + courses/audits cards).
